Recipe For Doughnuts

  • 1/4 cup Super Ghee, use Original or CBD ghee
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar or any sweetener
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 tsp lemon zest
  • 6-8 tbsp water
  • Preheat the oven to 180° C and grease a doughnut mould very well with Super Ghee.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the coconut flour, sweetener, poppy seeds, baking powder and salt. Stir in the eggs, ghee, lemon zest, water and lemon juice until well combined. Add additional water if the batter is very thick.
  • Divide the batter among the wells of the doughnut mould.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes, until the doughnuts are set and firm to the touch. Remove and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then flip out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
